Mini-Grant Applications

The Spokane Area Retired Educators Association (SAREA) has established a fund for active school personnel to use on non-budgeted programs or materials that will enhance student education. Applications of $250 or less will be considered. The award may be for complete or partial funding of a project.

In years past, grants have been requested for field trips, guest speakers, books in specific areas of curriculum, and/or special supplies. They have also been awarded for special programs as well as drama and musical productions. Creativity, need, and impact on student learning are factors considered by the selection committee.

Below is the online application for the SAREA Mini Grant Program. The application must be submitted on or before the 1st Friday in November for the proposal to be considered.
